Vote, Party, Organize

It’s election day, and with Trump and the billionaires making a final push we can’t take anything for granted – everyone needs to get out to vote! If you haven’t voted yet, you have plenty of time left - you just need to be in line by 9:00pm. Find your poll site here.

We encourage you to vote for Zohran on the Working Families Party (WFP) ballot line (Row D). Voting on the WFP line sends a message to the Democratic Party establishment and provides leverage to push elected officials to govern boldly for working families.

After we finish knocking doors on Election Day, we’re hosting an Election Night Watch Party! Come hang out and have some food while we watch the results roll in, and celebrate all our hard work and (hopefully) a win for us and for our city!

And then join us on Thursday to turn our attention to what comes next: getting organized to resist a possible federal invasion of NYC. On October 21st, we saw the first large-scale street operation by immigration officers in NYC. Groups across the city are preparing for an escalation in aggressive federal actions, which are even more likely if Zohran wins. Join our chapter meeting on Thursday November 6th from 6:30pm-8:30pm to get organized to prevent ICE from abducting our neighbors.

Onward,
